    Bio

    Wendy has been a vocal coach/instructor and piano teacher since 2001. She began playing the piano and singing solos at the age of six and received her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice with Elective Studies in Communications from Stetson University in DeLand, FL. She has also studied under Don Potter (Producer and Studio Musician), Suzy Yaraei (Recording Artist), Rita Springer (Recording Artist), Brett Manning (Nashville Vocal Coach), and Jason Halbert (Producer). She has been a soloist at multiple venues including The Times Union Center in Jacksonville, FL and the McGlohon Theatre in Charlotte, NC. She was employed by Magic Kingdom Entertainment at the Walt Disney World Resort where she enjoyed roles as Character/Dancer in The Magic Kingdom and Singer in Christmas Shows at Epcot & The Magic Kingdom. Wendy served as a soloist and choreographer for the annual Stetson University Broadway Revue. She is a former Miss Teen of Florida and soloist at Miss Teen of America. She has sung with the Jacksonville Symphony and Orlando Philharmonic Orchestras, The Jacksonville Masterworks Chorale, and is a two time soloist for Major League Baseball events. Her favorite lead role is “Sandy” in Grease (Jacksonville, FL). She continues to perform her own music as a singer/songwriter.

     

    As a teacher, Wendy delights in bringing out and cultivating the unique treasures found within each student. Notable client achievements include college music majors, lead and supporting roles in high school musicals, performances in Charlotte's Blumey Awards, contracts with talent agencies in New York City and Atlanta, and performances on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Platforms. Wendy has also been the director, musical director and choreographer for musicals (The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Annie, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and The Aristocats), and has led various musical theater workshops at charter and private schools in the Charlotte area. Wendy is married and has three children.
